  • Keauhou Shopping Center is the best for ladies clothing and small restaurants. 78-6831 Alii Dr. Turn right and head away from the center of town on Alii Drive until you reach the end.
  • Paradise Found Boutique (highly recommended) for quality yet reasonable ladies clothing.
  • Ross has bargains all the time.
  • Many stores in town like Target, Walmart etc.
  • Upscale shopping is at Mauna Lani Shopping Center and Wiakola Resort as you drive North up the Island toward Waimea.



  • We recommend Costco near the airport (bring your card!) 73-5600 Maiau St. for gas/groceries.
  • Safeway (in kona) 75-1027 Henry.



  • Nelha Market, this market is held on the last Friday of the month, from 2-6pm, and features lobster, crab, & abalone; sturgeon; fresh local sausage and veal; local honey. Cooking demonstrations and presentations using the sustainable aquaculture at NELHA. (natural energy center) Approximately 1 mile south of Kona International Airport, makai side of Highway 19. 73-4460 Queen Ka'ahumanu Hwy. For more information, call (808) 962-6357.
  • Hilo Market, this is the place to get beautiful flower arrangements in a palm wrapped vase for five dollars on the street! Officially open on Wednesday and Saturday, but every day has some vendors.
  • Kailua Village Market Wednesday thru Saturday mornings 9 till noon. Crafts, flowers and food products booths - not all made/grown locally. Hualalai Rd. and Alii Dr., across from Waterfront Row.
  • Keauhou Farmer's Market - Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort Every Wednesday, from 8:00AM to noon, on the lawn at Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort. All products are home grown in Hawaii, many are organic - fruits, vegetables, flowers, coffee, macadamia nuts, eggs, & more.
